Mounagiri is a Hanuman Temple located very near to Anantapuram city . The temple displays millennia of Hindu Culture . The Hanuman Idol costed around 40lakhs for the sculpturing and where the people worked very hard and toughly while installing in the proper place . This temple was constructed by Sri Eeswaraiah Swamy , who is a spiritual head of the Mounagiri Global Trust and Philosophical society , whose 500 volunteers and 1000 artisans helped in constructing this Mounagiri Hanuman Temple .

The entire monument made from a single stone . The construction work is still under process and is delaying due to financial difficulties and looking for the donors for construction of the temple .

అనంతపురం అనగానే గుర్తుకు వచ్చేది టవర్ క్లాక్. దీనికి ఎంతో చరిత్ర వుంది . 

ఇది ఎందరో మహనీయుల త్యాగం ఫలితంగా నిర్మితమైనది .స్వాతంత్రొద్యమ స్మారక చిహ్నమే ఈ గడియార స్తంభం.బ్రిటీష్ సామ్రాజ్యవద శక్తుల బానిసత్వం నుంచి భారతీయుల విముక్తి పొందిన తేదీ 15-8-1947 నాడు గడియర స్తంభాన్ని నిర్మించారు. నాలుగు ముఖాలు కనిపిస్తున్నా అష్తభుజాలతొ 47 అడుగుల ఎత్తు ,15 అడుగుల వెడల్పుతొ దీన్ని నిర్మించారు. 15 అడుగుల వెడల్పు 15వ తేదిని, అష్త భుజాలు 8వ నెలను, 47అడుగుల ఎత్తు 1947వ సంవత్సరాన్ని స్పుర్తించేలా దీన్ని నిర్మించడం విశేషం .1945 లోనే కేబినేట్ మిషన్ భారత్ లో పర్యటించింది. అప్పట్లొ అనంతకు కుడా వచ్ఛినట్లు చరిత్ర చెబుతోంది.1945 లోనే జిల్లాల్లోని ప్రముఖులు దాదాపు రూ.30వేలు వసూలు చేసారు.ఆ నిధులతొనే టావర్ క్లాక్ నిర్మాణానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు.అప్పటి జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ రాజనాల కోటేశ్వరరావు చేతుల మీదుగా ప్రారంభమైనది. టవర్ క్లాక్ కు రెండు శిలా ఫలకాలను ఏర్పటు చేశారు. ఒక దాంట్లొ ప్రారంభొత్సవ వివరలు , మరో శిలాఫలకం పై విరళాలు అందజేసిన వారి పేర్లున్నయి..........................!
